STEVE YZERMAN 1998 Detroit Red Wings STEVIE'S STARS LIMITED ED. CEREAL BOX FULL!

This is a cool NHL item from 1998 - A VINTAGE "STEVIE'S STARS" full cereal box, featuring Detroit Red Wings captain Steve Yzerman!! The item was distributed by JPL MARKETING INC. in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI following the Detroit Red Wings' second consecutive Stanley Cup triumph of 1998. I bought a handful of them at F&M's in Dearborn back in 1999 and have decided to sell them now to help get through a rough patch of life.
The box is in great shape - no wrinkles...it was stored away as soon as they were purchased. According to a description on the box, "A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this product will be donated to the foundation of (Red Wings team
masseur Sergei) Mnatsakanov and (Red Wings defenseman Vladimir) Konstantinov" - who were each severely injured in a limousine accident on Woodward Ave. in Birmingham following a post-season team golf outing in Washington MI on June 13, 1997 to celebrate their first Stanley Cup win since 1995. Defenseman Slava Fetisov was also injured in the accident, but unlike Konstantinov, recovered to play the 1997-98 season and carry the Cup once again.
