    Struck on a choice hard planchet with very attractive, smooth, and glossy light brown surfaces with just a minor (as-made) depression.
    All legends and devices are complete & clear, including the 1788 date.
    The rims are perfect with no bumps or bruises.
    This coin has a bold & full 1788 date, it has not been cleaned, it weights 97.4 grains, is in about VF condition, and has superb eye-appeal for the grade.
    This variety is listed as a scarce URS-10 (traditional R3+) in Whitman's rarity scale.
    Whitman lists a value of ,500 in Very Fine condition.
