    Description

    Welcome to Earlycoppercoins!  I am the owner, Shawn A. Yancey, and I am a member of ANA and Early American Coppers, EAC #4647.  I am pleased to offer the following item:
    1788 New Jersey copper, M67-v, W5510, Head Right, R1.  This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as VF35, and it's an above average "plus" example with excellent color and eye appeal.  Sure looks like full EF to me, but a glass does see some tiny nicks on the obverse that perhaps resulted in a VF35 designation by PCGS.  Really a nice example for the grade, and that 5-point difference between VF35 and EF40 sure keeps the price down on this example.  Common variety with above average quality.  The Head Right attribution is listed on the PCGS label.
