    Description

Offered here at Auction is a 1787 dated Connecticut Copper Cent.  I attribute this coin as a Miller 29.2-N, with a W-3160 designation by Q. David Bowers in his Colonial and Early American Coins attribution guide book.  This coin is a bit corroded, and rough.  Much of the detail (including the date) is not visible.  I note a few scrapes or light scratches over the portrait.  And a few light ones on the date side.    The date side is heavily worn with no digits visible.  If you collect varieties, you may still be interested in this coin.  Q. David Bowers lists this coin a URS-6 in scarcity, or in his analysis 17-32 pieces known to exist.
