Description
PCGS authenticated and graded VF 30. Mottled steel and light brown mix with few thin natural planchet flaws on either side, more noticeable on the reverse but still minor. The only notable mark is a rim bruise over E in INDE. Struck slightly off center to the right on the obverse, resulting in some weakness through CONNEC, low and to the right on the reverse with just the top half of the date making the strike. Overall a nice example of this variety with a great provenance.Ex; Henry C. Miller, Thomas Elder - Hillyer C. Ryder - F.C.C. Boyd - John J. Ford Jr. - Twin Leaf Collection
